Bordeaux is the most famous wine region on earth. A region of tremendous diversity in geography, soil, weather, and winemaking tradition that produces a myriad of wines. It is the largest fine-wine producing region on earth with 57 appellations, 61 grand cru classés, more than 9,000 wine-producing châteaux's.  Because of it's diversity and size, Bordeaux is also a complex region to understand. That's where we come in! Together with Jean-Sebastien from Aquitaine Wine Company, we will guide you through this diverse region and give you a taste of what Bordeaux is all about.  Founded in 2002 by Jean Christophe Calvet and his wife Margaret Chung, Aquitaine Wine Company is a négociant specializing in wines from Bordeaux and Southern France. Today the company has 7 employees and exports wines to the USA, UK and Asia.  Cheese and charcuterie will be offered to accompany the wine selection.
