Far Niente Family of Wines Loft Event

 The history of Far Niente dates back to 1885 making it one of Napa's oldest existing wineries. Far Niente prospered until the onset of Prohibition in 1919, when it was abandoned and left to fall into disrepair. Sixty years later, in 1979, Gil Nickel purchased the winery and adjacent vineyard and began a three-year restoration of the property. Today Far Niente and her sister wineries make some of the finest wines in California. The wineries are also deeply committed to practicing ecologically friendly operations.

During this event, Genevieve Eustis from Carolina Wines will talk to you about the history of this great house and introduce you to some of the finest wines made in CA today.  This impressive line up will feature Far Niente Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, Nickel & Nickel St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon, Bella Union Cabernet Sauvignon, EnRoute Pinot Noir and more!
