Meet the Winemaker | Cristián Aliaga

Join us for a special evening with internationally recognized Chilean winemaker Cristián Aliaga as we visit the remarkable story behind Casa Fèvre, the iconic winery founded over 30 years ago by William Fèvre and Victor Pino.

A highly respected and an award-winning winemaker, Cristián studied Oenology at Universidad de Chile and began his career with harvests at Errázuriz in the Aconcagua Valley. He later spent twelve years at Veramonte in Casablanca Valley, ultimately becoming Chief Winemaker. During that time, he also completed harvests with acclaimed wineries around the world, including Kendall-Jackson, Paul Hobbs, Saintsbury, and Quintessa in California, Villa María in New Zealand, and Château Dillon in Bordeaux.

Cristián later joined William Fèvre in Chile in search of new terroirs and new challenges. Faced with years of drought conditions across Chile, he became deeply involved in research focused on locating cooler regions with reliable water sources for sustainable vineyard development.…
