Special Event - Beconcini Wines

Join us as we welcome Eva Bellagamba of Beconcini Wines, visiting from the Pisa Commune of Tuscany.

Eva and her husband, fourth-generation winemaker Leonardo Beconcini, are the first and only winery in Tuscany producing wine from Tempranillo. Certified organic and forward-thinking, they are crafting wines unlike any other in the region.

Leonardo produced his first vintage, Reciso (100% Sangiovese), in 1995, marking his official entry into the family estate. Since 1997, Eva has been an integral part of this journey. In 2004, DNA analysis revealed that an ancient, ungrafted vine in their vineyard was pre-phylloxera Tempranillo — a rare and extraordinary discovery.

During this special event, you’ll meet Eva, hear their remarkable story, and taste a curated selection of their distinctive organic wines. Cheese and charcuterie will be served to accompany the wine selection.
