Wine Regions of Spain with Eric Solomon Imports

During this event we will explore the diverse wine growing regions of Spain. Spain’s consistently warm climate makes most of the country perfect for growing grapes year round. You’ll see stunning diversity in both the topography and the wine as you travel from region to region. Spanish wines are notoriously food friendly and affordable making them an excellent choice for any occasion.  All the wines featured during this event are imported by Eric Solomon Imports. In the world of wine there are a handful of importers you can almost certainly rely upon. When we're talking about Spain, that importer for me is Eric Solomon. Eric founded European Cellars in 1990 and initially focused on importing French wines. From the start, Eric championed unheralded wine growing regions and promoted young, innovative winemakers. In 1993 Eric met a Spanish wine maker named Daphne Glorian, who would later come his wife. From there Eric began to explore the rest of Spain and has assembled an innovative and distinctive Spanish portfolio. Eric Solomon Selections has grown over the years from a few estates to now just over 90 properties.
